I am an avid genealogist with a love and passion for family history. I have been doing genealogy since 2000 and I find that every new piece of information discovered fills in clues about people's past and the lives they lived. And of course, there is nothing better than breaking through a brick wall or finding a new piece of information that no one else knew about! It is very rewarding and satisfying to solve genealogical puzzles.
I specialize in all aspects of Chicago and Cook County Genealogy, Cook County Deed Research as well as Polish and German genealogy including translation of Polish church records written in Latin, Russia, or Polish.
My location is central to many research facilities. I live near the Cook County Courthouse, Cook County Recorder of Deeds, the Newberry and Harold Washington Libraries, the Church of Latter-day Saints Family History Center and many Chicago Cemeteries. I have experience at all of these facilities and know the ins and outs of using their resources to tackle most genealogy projects.
I am a member of the Polish Genealogy Society of America, completed ProGen2 in June 2010 and have a BA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
